Amazon and eBay were amongst the first companies that pitched the idea with implementation, that you can actually sell & buy goods online. This shocked the world and many investors saw the potential of eCommerce and saw the mark that eCommerce will make in the coming age of digitalization. These gave growth to some of the giant eCommerce companies out there like AliBaba, Wish, Flipkart, and etc.

As a result in the year 2018, we saw an increase in the eCommerce sales by 23.3% compared to the year 2017.

In fact, the average growth has been resulted in 25.6% in sales from 2019 to 2017.

But it is one of those industries that have been having various variations from year to year; adapting in such a way that it will be easy for people to shop online around the globe.

Over the coming years there will a lot of changes in eCommerce that will result in modification in the way we buy stuff; that will result in a big-bang in digital era in the coming years.
